Meeting Dates

The dates for the meetings coming up are May 5 and June 2. I encourage all members to come out to the meetings. If you have any friends that would like to join, please bring them. They can. I hope to see each one of you there! There will be no food provided at the meetings, but there will be soft drinks available.

Newsletter Articles

All Officers and members are encouraged to submit articles to be included in this newsletter. If is club or shooting related and not derogatory, it will be included in future newsletters.

All 4-H shooters are encouraged to shoot the Junior Matches. In addition to practicing their positions, they will expand their capabilities by shooting in the additional positions!

Cleanup Day
Dallas announced at the regular meeting that the cleanup day at the range would be the following day, April 8. There was only one person to show up for this. They have been complaints by some of the membership about the mess at the range and then they didn’t show up to help the situation! In my opinion, there are three choices:

1. Come out to the work day and help
2. Don’t complain about the mess
3. Be prepared for a dues increase if the work has to be hired out!

The clean up day is the Saturday after the monthly meeting, beginning at 8:00 AM.

Participation Raffle
At the present time, the only record of any participation is the sign up sheets at the regular meetings and the ones at the Board meetings! NO one has been turning in a list of the people attending the matches! If we don’t get these hard copy lists there is no way to give members credit for participating in the club activities and there is no use in trying to continue with this raffle!

The next meeting of the Laredo Rifle & Pistol Club will be on April 7, beginning at 7:00 PM at the clubhouse. I hope to see each of you there. Be careful, shoot straight and shoot often!
